Dear Friends,

This letter could begin with "Once upon a time,"
because it seemed like an enchanted day when I was
first employed in fine luggage and leathergoods retailing.
I interviewed with a gentleman at
Camalier & Buckley in
Washington, D.C.. He was quite polite and even a little shy.
He said he had only one question, and if I gave him an
acceptable answer, I could have the job. His question
had to do with quality of service, as it would be my job
to continue to provide the utmost in customer care.
I had just come from a master's degree program in
Business and must have given him a worthy response,
because before I knew it, I was hired.
My years at Camalier and Buckley provided me
with much I am grateful for. In addition to an in-depth
knowledge of fine leather and luxury travel goods,
I have a true appreciation for the fine art of
proper customer service.
