This is an elegant umbrella any lady would be thrilled to own.
A solid shaft, 20 inch rib, standard with a Gold Plated Royal Warrant Collar and black nylon twill canopy. Our solid shaft umbrellas are one continuous piece of wood from the tip (above you when using your umbrella) to the end of the crook. Each is carved, steamed and bent to perfection.
The wood is absolutely beautiful. Elegant Wood with a little
character. The base wood is a dark honey colour with Havana graining.
For greater
coverage, you may consider a Gentleman's version. Our 26 inch size is quite popular with ladies and offers greater variation of handles.
Typically produced with a Black Nylon Twill Canopy ...also available in a
broad range of colours.

This solid shaft umbrella is a character piece ...clearly different from the typical, classic solid shaft Maple or Hickory.
Our standard Ladies version, is produced with a 20 inch rib. Priced with a Gold Plated Royal Warrant Collar, although, more typically produced with a hallmarked Sterling Silver Collar.
Available to be produced with a broad range of colours. Often produced with a Black Nylon twill canopy.
The shaft of this umbrella is thinner than the crook handle. ...You may wish to look at the photographs of our Gentleman's version to see greater detail.
This umbrella has been especially popular in warmer climates and in Asia ...we suppose this is due to the light colour.
The crook of this umbrella is particularly interesting ...the width of the branch these umbrellas come from must be perfectly sized. Please notice the top of the crook is rather tight and the underside is wrinkled ...this is the bark stretching across the top and gathering underneath.

The Classic Maple ...beautiful wood, ...very elegant ...magnificently constructed.
A solid shaft umbrella ...the wood is one continuous piece from the tip at the end of the umbrella to the end of the crook. Hand carved, bent with steam and heat and finished like a fine piece of furniture.

the Gentleman's version. A two piece Malacca Cane Umbrella with the
addition of a Hallmarked English Sterling Nose Cap and
Collar engraved with the Warrant of HRH the Prince of Wales. The
Hallmarked Nose Cap is hand produced by our silversmith designed to fit each
individual Malacca handle. Available to be produced with a Black Nylon
twill and
Black Waterproofed Silk canopy. Other canopy colours available ...please let

Our Malacca Cane with vary from quite pale to rather dark ...almost caramel in colour. The very light Malacca is what you will find more often, ...please let us know if you have a preference.
