HOW WILL I KNOW YOU RECEIVED MY ORDER?
Within 24 hours of placing your order, you will hear from us via e-mail. We will review your order and may ask questions regarding specifics such as location of personalization, gift wrap requirements, and so on. In addition, at that time, we will confirm current availability and estimated dispatch date.
WILL YOU CONFIRM MY ORDER?
...Yes, yes, yes, and yes! We will confirm your order shortly after it is placed. We will confirm the progress being made should your selection require
customization. If you wish, we will do our best to confirm your selection has been shipped upon departure from us.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

Shipment of your selection may take anywhere from a few days ...to a few weeks ...to a few months. Generally, however, if your selection does not require
customization, other than personalization,
we can dispatch it to you straightaway. Bespoke goods, many of our English
fine leathergoods and umbrellas may require require longer periods of time to
be produced and have sent to us from England.

WHEN ARE CREDIT CARDS CHARGED FOR AN ORDER?
If your selection includes an item that must be custom made for you, a 50% deposit may be charged to your credit card, ...after your order has been confirmed. If your selection does not require custom manufacture, your credit card will be processed upon shipment to you or your recipient.
WHAT ABOUT SENDING YOU A CHECK?
A check would be fine. We frequently do business with corporations, associations, and government entities that require purchasing with a check only.
Simply indicate in payment options section when ordering that you are sending a check.
We will send you an invoice via facsimile with the exact amount.
IS ORDERING ONLINE SAFE WITH A CREDIT CARD?

HOW WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?
Depending upon the item we are dispatching and where we are dispatching it to, we determine the safest, most cost effective method.
We ship our goods via The United States Postal Service, FedEx Ground, FedEx Express
and DHL.
Typically, parcels are sent signature required with insurance. Should you prefer one method of deliver over another, simply contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
MAY I HAVE GOODS SENT OUTSIDE THE
STATES?
You bet! We dispatch goods
every day to countries all over the world. We
have found the safest and most cost effective method of delivery to be with The United States Postal Service,
although, we are pleased to dispatch your goods via FedEx Express should there
be a preference. Parcels are dispatched duty collect, signature required with insurance.
WHAT WILL TRANSPORTATION COST TO JAPAN?
Other than within the United
States we dispatch goods to Japan more than any other country. Typical
purchases are our Brigg Umbrellas, Swaine Adeney Leathergoods, and our
American Leathergoods from Schlesinger and Atlas. These products, after
packaging weigh approximately 6 to 14 pounds. You will see from the
International Calculator link above, transportation will be in the range of
$45.00 to $65.00 USD. Insurance is typically a few dollars more.
WHAT ABOUT THE COST TO OTHER COUNTRIES?
Japan is just about as far away
from the United States as it can get! Click on to the International
Calculator above and highlight your country. A safe assumption will be that
your item, after packaging will weigh approximately 6 to 14 pounds (from an
umbrella to an attaché case). This should give you a good idea of the fees
involved. If you are not certain, just contact us! We are pleased to
provide an estimate of delivery fees.
