This lovely case is traditional produced with traditional textured Green Skiver
Leather lining with a solid Brass key lock closure. You will find three gusseted sections. The front gusset will have a simple flat pocket for business cards and such as well as pen loops.
Personalization is available below the lock on the body of the case or on the removable identification tag. A Blind Stamp,
...burned into the leather is most often requested.
Approximate dimensions include a 17.5 inch measurement from left to right, a 13 inch height, and 6 inch width, although you will find this case expands considerably with use.
The traditional closure is a key lock. Often our customers believe
they would prefer a combination lock because they think it will be difficult to
keep the key with then when needing to open their case. Please note, the
key is not used to open the lock, ...it is used to lock the lock. If
however, you prefer a combination lock, we are pleased to have this case
produced with one. Our key locks our produced in in England and our
combination locks are produced in Italy. These locks are the finest solid
brass locks available.
Our Polished Nickel fittings and Key Lock have become popular recently. We are unable to have a combination lock produced in Polished Nickel.
The traditional lining for this case is our traditional green skiver. Alternatively, we are pleased to offer pig suede lining in either green or natural. This bag is offered with a 17 width and 12 inch height with three gusseted compartments and an optional, detachable shoulder strap.
Shown in Dark London Tan, also available in Chestnut, Havana, and Black Bridle Hide. Typically offered with a Traditional Solid Brass English Key Lock, may also be produced with a Solid Brass Combination Lock closure.
This case is most often requested with a Traditional English Key Lock, although, you may wish to consider a polished Nickel-plated lock and fittings with an additional fee. Polished nickel is especially attractive with Black Bridle Hide.
There are two leather dividers, creating three internal sections.
There is no lining in this case, simply the thick, luscious Bridle Hide.
Over time, if stuffed full, this case will take the shape of the goods it
carries. We have seen cases returned for refurbishment that are 20
years old or more and we can tell the same books have been carried for
years.
Should your case be produced with a removable Should Strap you will find a small "D" Ring at either end of the leather strip running along the to of the case. These will lie flat and will not be in the way when the Shoulder Strap is not in use.
This incredible leather takes an impression beautifully. Please allow us to personalize this case for you. You may choose to have your initials placed above the hardware on the flap, or your name or message placed on the body of the case at the top edge, under the flap.

we are able to stamp this case above the lock on the flap as well as below the
lock on the body of the case.

Bridle Hide Flap-Over with three gussets, short buckle straps with solid brass
buckle and traditional key lock. The buckle straps function just like a
belt you would wear around your waist. These are actual buckles, you will
not find a tuck-tite type of closure underneath.
Measuring approximately 17 by 12 by 6 inches, this case is a little more
generous in size as compared to the case below.
Three gussets with all bridle interior. This case is designed without a
shoulder strap and without a pocket in the back, although both have been
requested in the past and we have been able to accommodate our customers.
We are pleased to produce this case with a pocket on the back is with an
additional fee. The addition of a removable, adjustable
shoulder strap is also available.
The shoulder strap attaches from the top just like you see with the strap round
document case shown above.

leather.
This case is produced without a shoulder strap, although one may be added if you
wish. The shoulder strap attaches to the top of the case similar to what

you may wish to consider a pocket on the back of this case. This may be
included with an additional fee.
