HAND-STITCHED TOP-FRAME DOCUMENT CASE BY SWAINE ADENEY BRIGG LTD (No.18)

  A magnificent case you will have for the rest of your life.

Shown in Havana Bridle Hide, this Top Frame case is also available in Dark London Tan, Chestnut, Havana, and Black.

This elegant case is traditionally produced with traditional textured Green Skiver Leather lining and a solid Brass key lock closure.  You will find three gusseted sections.

Personalization is available below the lock on the body of the case or on the removable identification tag. A Blind Stamp, ...burned into the leather is most often requested.

Approximate dimensions include a 17.5 inch measurement from left to right, a 13 inch height, and 6 inch width, although you will find this case expands considerably with use.  This case, when new, is quite stiff.  The interior length, from left to right, when new measures 16.5 inches.  The interior height, when new, measures 12.75 inches. 

We recently received a request for a much taller version which we will be able to accommodate.  Please let us know of your special interests.

The traditional closure is a key lock.  Often our customers believe they would prefer a combination lock because they think it will be difficult to keep the key with then when needing to open their case.  Please note, the key is not used to open the lock, ...it is used to lock the lock. 

If  you prefer a combination lock, we are pleased to have this case produced with one.  Our key locks our produced in in England and our combination locks are produced in Italy.  These locks are the finest solid brass locks available.

Our Polished Nickel fittings and Key Lock have become popular recently.  We are unable to have a combination lock produced in Polished Nickel.

The traditional lining for this case is our textured green skiver.  Alternatively, we are pleased to offer pig suede lining in either green or natural (tan).  If you click on to the Dark London Tan case you will see an example of natural pig suede interior.  If you click on to the Black case, you will see this case with traditional textured green skiver lining.  Alternatively, please view our Swaine Adeney attaché page you will see photographs of our traditional textured green skiver.

Fantastic detail.  The stitching on the sides is wonderful.  Although this is a machine stitched case, it is superbly crafted.

Personalization is typically placed below the lock on the body of the case or on the removable identification tag.  We can stamp this as a blind stamp (burned into the leather) or stamp it in gold.  Generally initials only are stamped.  If we stamp the identification tag there is a little more room and a short name may be appropriate.

THREE SECTION FLAP OVER BRIEF WITH SHORT STRAPS BY SWAINE ADENEY BRIGG LTD (Product Reference No.76A)

 Shown in Havana  Bridle with three sections, measuring approximately 17 by 13 by 4 inches when new and stretching out to 5.5 inches, or so, when filled to capacity.

This lovely piece is very similar to our computer case version shown below (Product Reference No.76) without the computer section, without the shoulder strap, and with a newspaper pocket on the rear.

The standard lining is Green Canvas although, Green and Natural Tan Suede may be requested with an additional fee.

Shown with our solid Brass Three Position Key Lock.  This wonderful lock is referred to as a 'ratchet' lock.  There are several slots for you to slide the hasp into.  This lock may be plated in Polished Nickel with an additional fee.   A side attachment, removable, adjustable shoulder strap is a possible addition with an additional fee of $100.00 and a hand-stitched handle is available with an additional fee of $175.00.

Shown in Black Bridle Hide with Polished Nickel Key Lock and fittings, a removable, adjustable shoulder strap and brilliant textured Scarlet Skiver Lining.

We refer to this as our James Bond version because of the stunning Scarlet Lining.  ...The authentic James Bond Attaché Case has the same lining.

If the Scarlet is not quite to your liking, we do have other colours for you to select from.  The traditional Green is always nice ...you may wish to consider Purple, Royal, and Tan as additional options. 

...Actually, we could have this produced with suede or cloth lining as well.

Personalization is is often a consideration.  This selection, as with the other flap over case is available to be personalized on the exterior or under the flap, on the body of the case toward the top edge.

Initials are more often on the exterior and a full name or message on the interior.  We recommend a blind stamp ...burned into the leather, making an impression, although we are able to have offer silver lettering as well.

All Bridle Hide Flap-Over with three gussets, short buckle straps with solid brass buckle and traditional key lock.  The buckle straps function just like a belt you would wear around your waist.  These are actual buckles, you will not find a tuck-tite type of closure underneath.

Measuring approximately 17 by 12 by 6 inches, this case is a little more generous in size than our other Short Strap Flap Over Document Case.

Three gussets with all bridle interior.  This case is designed without a shoulder strap and without a pocket in the back, although both have been requested in the past and we have been able to accommodate our customers.   We are pleased to produce this case with a pocket on the back is with an additional fee.  The addition of a removable, adjustable shoulder strap is also available.   The shoulder strap attaches from the top just like you see with the strap round document case shown above.
