We are delighted to offer our Swaine Adeney Machine Closed Lid-Over-Body Attaché range.

THESE TRADITIONAL STYLE ATTACHÉ CASES are produced with the same extraordinary English Bridle Hide used on our Swaine Adeney goods, ...these are Machine Stitched instead of Hand-Stitched.  Also, you will notice the sizing is a little different.  These cases are offered in 3, 4, 4.5 and 5 inch widths.  ...Our hand-stitched versions are offered in 3.5 and 4.5 inch widths only.

These cases are typically produced with smooth Skiver Leather lining, simple file pocket detail, a machine stitched handle and solid brass key locks.  Although there are several ways to customize your Attaché. 

A typical upgrade is with the handle.  A hand-stitched handle is available with an additional fee of $175.00.  Textured Skiver Leather or Suede Lining is available with and additional fee of $75.00.  And a more complex file in the lid is available with an additional fee of $200.00.  (The more complex file may be produced with Textured Green Skiver Leather Lining only.)  Please click here to view photographs of a hand sewn handle, textured Skiver Leather Lining and a more complex file in the lid. 

Typically these cases are requested with solid brass fittings.  We are pleased to offer you polished nickel key locks and fittings as well.  Polished Nickel has always been popular with Havana and Black. We are pleased to offer complementary personalization on these Attaché Cases.  We offer blind stamp personalization which is burned into the leather.  It looks like an embossing into the leather.  Our typeface is very traditional an conservative.  Personalization may take place on the body of the case just below the handle, on the lid just above the handle and on the removable Identification Tag.

We have had customers ask about the interior dimensions of this attaché case.  If you have the case open, in front of you, and measuring the base of this case, at the bottom, the interior measurement from left to right is 17 3/8 inches and from front to back 12 3/8 inches.  The interior height of the base measure 2 3/4 inches.  The file in the lid will measure 1.25 inches from the interior of the lid.

This is the only Machine Closed Lid-Over-Body that is available with self lining.  With self lining, the beautiful Bridle Hide that is on the exterior is also on the interior.  Bridle Lining is available with a fancier, more complex  file only and is available with an additional fee of $300.00
